Common questions

Before you enrol

How are courses delivered?

Courses run on our dedicated Student Portal at learn.oceanofislam.uk. Live cohorts use video conferencing with full session recordings; self-paced courses combine guided lessons, video, and supplementary materials.

Do I need any prior knowledge to start?

Most courses are designed to be accessible from the beginning. Each course page lists prerequisites where any are required. If unsure, contact us before enrolling.

Can I get a refund?

Refund eligibility is shown on each course page on the student portal. As a general rule, refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if course content has not been substantially accessed.

Are courses suitable for sisters?

Yes. Our online Islamic courses for sisters page brings together three live, sisters-only options: Sanatayn Weekend, Sanatayn Weekday and Tajweed. Other Ocean of Islam courses are open to wider audiences.

Can I access courses on my phone?

Yes. The student portal is fully mobile-friendly. You can watch lessons, download resources, and submit assignments from any device.

How do I get help during the course?

Live courses include Q&A sessions with the instructor. All students have access to the Microsoft Teams or WhatsApp community for peer discussion. For administrative questions, email info@oceanofislam.uk.

Ready to begin?

Enrolment is open year-round for self-paced courses. Live cohorts have specific start dates.
